Bentley’s Mayfair fish and chips are certainly more than just cod and potatoes in the classic newspaper. Our fish is freshly caught from the UK coast and delivered to us. Once within our kitchens, our talented kitchen staff take it on a delicious journey to your plate. The fish is delicately battered and fried to perfection for a crunchy and delicious outside, yet a perfectly flaky inside. The chips are sliced, fried and seasoned exceptionally before being delicately plated. To accompany such a flavourful and simple dish, we prefer the classics: delicious mushy peas and house-made tartare sauce.

Whatever your evening calls for, the Bentley’s drinks menu will never disappoint. The Bentley’s cocktails are expertly crafted, The Vesper combines Beefeater London Dry, Absolut Elyx and Lillet Blanc for a smooth and sophisticated partner to your chosen dish. For something slightly zestier, the ​​Citrus Drop includes Ketel One Citroen, Cointreau, Lemon Sherbet and Orange Bitters for a zesty kick to end your evening. Not to mention a huge selection of spirits, softs and stills. For any special requests, please ask your waiter. 

As for drink pairings, if the Fish Pie is what you crave, a delicate glass of Blanc de Blancs champagne, made entirely from Chardonnay grapes, pairs delightfully well with the creamy potato topping and delicate fish flavours. The Baked Scallop, on the other hand, lends itself perfectly to a glass of Muscadet. With its light body and slightly salty notes, the Muscadet complements the sweetness of the scallops and the briny flavours of the sea. For a richer option, consider a Chardonnay from the menu. Of course, for the perfect fairing to your Mayfair Fish and Chips, a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand would elegantly cut through the batter and offer a refreshing contrast to the deliciously salty fish.
